In addition to designing patterns, the project includes material, color, and product coordination. We also created three style concepts with colours and mood boards for in-house use for developing the brand and collections.
Tanja Kallio’s Helmiäinen-pattern got shortlisted for Sangetsu Wallpaper Design Awards 2019 in Japan. It is a metal ink printed pattern for high spaces.

We have good news from Japan again: a wallpaper manufacturer WhO got interested in our patterns and we will see several of the patterns on wallpapers later this year.
Our aim is to supply patterns for surfaces that have a long life and are still trendy. The philosophy of Södahl from Denmark is to develop quality products in great designs, unique fabrics, patterns and colours that could be mixed and matched across the board. We remain waiting to see how our patterns are used in Södahl’s upcoming collection!
We are happy to inform our fans and followers about our fantastic start for 2018! There will be wallpapers with Nordic pattern design available in Japan soon! Our new customer will do some testing and prototyping in their production of wallpapers, and the patterns for this line are designed by Patternsfrom Agency’s designers.
We are expecting the production to begin and a new collection of curtains to be launched in Japan, as Bickly Curtain from Osaka will be using some of our patterns in their production. We are very happy to collaborate with such a forerunner of curtain business.
Another pattern designed by Patternsfrom Agency’s designer Ammi Lahtinen has reached consumers in Japan as our customer released a product with Ammi’s pattern.
Patternsfrom Agency’s designers are now well represented at the showroom of our customer Showa Nishikawa. We are happy that the patterns are promoted by the Japanese TV-persona Matsuko Deluxe again.
Silkentex Co. Ltd’s representatives visited our booth at Heimtextil, and soon some patterns will be used in production in Thailand. on upcoming years too! We keep fingers crossed for a successful launch of the products
